Fourth Annual Spelling Bee

The fourth annual WFHESL Spelling Bee for first through eight graders will be held on Monday, November 12th at Gulf Coast Baptist Church,1499 Chemstrand Rd, Pensacola (Note location change) . Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends promptly at 6:00 p.m. when the Bee begins.

Your child does not have to be an expert speller to take part. The spelling bee is an excellent educational opportunity and the competition is stricty friendly! Each child who participates will receive a certificate of participation, and ribbons will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each grade level. Winners in grades 6-8 are eligible to compete in the Sandy Sansing Spelling Bee in February. Last year, WFHESL had a first place winner in the Sandy Sansing Spelling Bee. (Bzzzzz-he took home a prize of $100!)

The fee has been changed to $2 per child, maximum $5 per family. To register, mail the registration form (available on this WFHESL website) and the registration fee to:

Registration deadline is October 31st.
